Thanks! The display was given that name by a friend, and it stuck. I think if I changed it now to something else people would be confused.

Love the little tree's singing. Not sure where you got those or how you made them but I would like to get something like for my display. Great job ! Thanks !

I think this might be my favorite display so far. Great songs, great sequencing, not over done. Each song totally unique from the others.

I have a question on the dripcicles in the trees. Do you have more than one channel being used in each tree? I noticed they don't fire all at once, but drip only once. I think they are a little slower than mine too. I have seventy tubes in two trees, they seem to drip in unison and has it's own cool effect.

Thanks!

For ScroogeLightsUp : I created the singing trees last year, and Holiday Coro has licensed the design. If you want you can purchase just one tree or the quartet. The link is below. That site also offers some of my face sequences as well as some of their own. The sequence price is really reasonable.

For Scubado: My dripcicles were purchased at Home Depot. The icicles and the tree lights are all on the same channel. They were relatively inexpensive. I have two sets in each tree. Also, if you leave them on longer, they drip intermittently. It doesn't show up very well on the video, but you definitely notice them when you're viewing the show. I wanted to add a little visual interest without breaking the bank. I had maxed out my display budget this year by adding 4 extra ccr's and switching the mega-tree over to LED's. No money left for snow tubes...but I did look. :)

Hi Glenn,

Thanks! The ribbons are 16'-4". At the top the ribbons are 1 inch apart with a 1 inch drop on each ribbon starting from the two center ones and working out. We attached them to some sort of vinyl sheathing that Roger found. They're anchored at the top and the bottom and seem to be pretty stable so far. If you're interested I'll find out what the "stuff" is called.

Looks awesome Sally! Your trees are a hit in my display. Everyone loves them and I always make sure to give full credit to you and your niece for coming up with an awesome idea. Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the response. Are you selling copies of the singing trees? I've seen them in other videos and was wondering who was making them. Do they come as wire frames or ready to go?

Hi Jim,

I'm not selling copies of the faces, but Holiday Coro has licensed the design, you can get them from them. I've included the link below. They are made out of white coro. The design is punched onto the coro and instructions are given for how to attach the lights. My faces are attached to a pvc frame and hung on the house. In addtion to the faces, Holiday Coro also sells the sequence files to go along with them. (Average price is $5 per sequence). If you need more info feel free to PM me.

Good luck,

What's the problem?

Sally not really a problem but climbing that ladder to pul the pins to work on them is the pain. When I use the blackbox to find the bulb that is bad all the lights are so close that I have remove them to hear the sound. I have enjoyed them so far this year and the people love them. Every now and then I have a network issue that will hang a channel up from time to time. Thanks again for all your hard work in making this happen.

Jeff
