Can't get my head around it

So .. . . I am new to the LOR controllers and I absolutely love them!!!! I have a 16 channel and just have a few questions.

1. I have a velleman usb dmx dongle that I can not get to communicate with LOR (Are there only certain dongles that work with LOR via usb?)

2. I have an Oxygen49USB MIDI keyboard (Can I somehow program this keyboard to control my lights while using the Sequence Editor?)

3. When I add a show to my schedule editor I get an error "Cannot create schedule" (What am I doing wrong?)

2) cant answer that one.

3) You will get the error until you create a show with the Simple Show Builder. And you'll get the error until you get the correct dongle.

Wait.. nm, saw the DMX ref now.. Pretty sure just the Enttec dongles are supported.

As to #3, did you actually create a show yet? Cant edit a show (time) until a show is created.

Thanks TJ. Answer to Q.3 was found. My file locations were wrong so the show builder was looking in the right spot (obviously) but my files were stored elsewhere. I will more than likely be buying the DMX unit from LOR. Borrowed an ENTEC from a friend and got some mismatched values through my line. DMX line is fine even with resistor at end. some speratic values, nothing major.
