robert spalding Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I have had my LOR unit for three years and for the last two years some of my channels are not running as programmedI use a MP3 control box with 16 channels and running 3.8 software and one of the channels ( 2.2 through 2.6 channel)s are not functioning except when I use someone else’s sequences and then I cant control the output or I cannot get them to turn on as programmed but when I use someone else’s sequence grabbed from internet, it will at least it at least will turn on monemtatriySo I try starting new sequence and to check the channels by just highlighted the entire rows in question and still does not turn on but you can hear the music on the monitor so it has to be at least running. When I try other sequences by more experience people it works.I tried a verifier check and got a few warnings but no specifics that made sense to meI still consider myself a seasonal novice ….If I load old sequences in they seem to work or at least the lights hooked up to them work but not sequence based on my programmed sequences or modifications to other people sequencesAM I not saving the programs correctly or when I make a change on the rows and I not using the right timing or does the old saved sequences not allow changes
George Simmons Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Are you sure your channel assignments are correct in the sequences?Did any of the Verifier warning messages include the word "conflict"?
Orville Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Agree with George. Or you haven't assigned the channels in your sequence. I'd recommend go to the Tools menu, select the Channel Configurations and PRINT OUT your channel list and check for duplicatly assigned channels and non assigned channels. You'll probably find your culprit in your print out. The verifier SHOULD find these issues as well, but you have to have a show file created before it will do so, and it needs your most recent sequences to check, especially if you have made any changes to your show sequences and haven't updated your show file with them.Good Luck
Max-Paul Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 One thing that stands out in your post that I just do not understand. Would you please explain to me this channels 2.2 - 2.6. Does this mean unit addressed #2. And channels #2 through #6 on the 2nd controller?
Orville Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I took 2.2 - 2.6 to mean Controller #2 - Channels 2,3,4,5 and 6 are not functioning within the OPS sequences, but says they work when using someone else's. Definitely sounds like a channel assignment mismatch or unassigned channels in their sequence to me.
TJ Hvasta Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Numba Wan ting wen you staht:Make you own channel file. Save, (mean expoht). Wen you get new sequence, import you channel file. crick pray button.. Have horry jorry Christmas.
