Mike Cole Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 (edited) Looks Good!........like the light burst things, would like to know how those were made Edited November 30, 2012 by Mike Cole
tonyjr127 Posted November 30, 2012 Author Posted November 30, 2012 I cut out 18 inch circles 1/2" plywood, painted them white, attached gemmy icicles in a sun like patern, and the center I drilled holes in the shape of a snowflake and put white Led's in. When activated the icicles all come on at once. Thank you for watching.
Push Eject Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Great stuff, Tony. I too love the star bursts. Do you have a daylight picture of them? I'd love to see them close up.Cheers,Charlie
Push Eject Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 I've never seen those icicles before. Is $19.99 a good price on them? www.meijer.com/s/shooting-star-icicle-led-light-set-10-white-icicles/_/R-224534; 1
Brett H. Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 I like the mickey mouseses lining the front.creatively different.
tonyjr127 Posted December 2, 2012 Author Posted December 2, 2012 Thanks again. I'm on a weekend getaway and as soon as I get back I will upload some pics. And yes 19.99 is a great price on them, I paid over 40 last year.
tonyjr127 Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 Here's the burst video. I can't get a great pick because its 20 feet off the ground but I took this video with my phone when I was building it.
