Loading sequences

hi all.

just wondering what setting the masses use with loading the sequences...preload sequences or load as needed? i havent really seen much of a differance when testing....

I think it's an issue of computer speed mostly. If your PC is slow, the load time of each sequence the first time through the show can be bothersome, especially if the sequences are long. That's the reason the pre-load option came to be in the first place. With a fast PC it doesn't make any difference. Also, using compressed sequences speeds load times considerably.

If your show loops, this isn't an issue after the show turns over, because the sequences are already loaded.
