bpel Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I have created my first sequence using the sequence editor. When I hit play in the editor the song plays and my lights light. When I save and leave the sequence editor, create my show in the show editor, save it, then schedule my show in the scheduler, enable schedule.... the song is playing, but the lights are not lighting. Please answer my silly newbie question. What silly thing am i doing wrong. Thanks so much.
LightguyGreg Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Hey bpel-Did you try the "show on demand" instead of enable show just to see if it works-- it will pop up with another box and ask you which show you want to run and then you can also select start immediately or at a scheduled time and then same thing for turning it off. ( I can't remember if those are the exact words- but you should be able to see your show run that way) I am in the middle of switching computers for the show and just tested mine last night using that option- if everything is set up correctly in show editor you shouldn't have a problem. Let me know.
bpel Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 I will give that a try tomorrow. Thank you for the reply.
Paul M Krupa Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Under the " Play" heading in SE the "Control Lights" is checked
bpel Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 Ok, I laid in bed last night thinking about this and got up eary this morning to try what Greg suggested. Show on demand worked. Then I went back and scheduled a show and that worked too...... Go figure. At least it is now running. This is my first year with LOR and I had no idea how much time was involved sequencing the songs, I should have started January 1st! Thank you both for your help.
Dave Batzdorf Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 I have seen the show editor hich-up before. I even went so far as to delete the show editor, as it will rebuild it when needed. The newer version is a lot less finiky.
