oj70chevy
I have 5 songs sequenced and have the in the show editor under the music tab and then have my close sequence under the shutdown tab and have it saved as Vega Christmas show. In the scheduled editor i have that show set to play sun - thurs from 7pm till 10pm and fri & sat 7 pm till 12 am. i opened the control panel and select enable scheduled. the show will run fine from the 1st to the last song and then will not repeat. it says it is currently ENABLED and under Current activity it says Playing vega Christmas show from 7:00 PM to Sunday 12:00AM, and under next activity it says wait for next show. Can some one tell me what i need to do so my show will repeat during the time i set? Thanks for your help.Ralph
Don
What version of software are you running? If you are running one in the 2.7.x area, then you might want to upgrade to something a bit newer, or change your stop time on Saturday. (There was a bug in one of the 2.7.x series that caused problems when shows ending at midnight, Saturday.)If your in the 3.x software - Let me confirm.Musical Tab - 5 SequencesShutdown Tab - 1 SequenceShow Scheduled at times above. The 5 sequences play once, then do not repeat.I would suggest a few things.1) Run the LOR Verifier. Something odd may pop up (might not.)2) Open the LOR Status Window when the shows are running. After the last song plays copy/paste the text from that status window here. A lot of information there that would help.
George Simmons
I can't find any control in the show editor that allows what Ralph wants to do.The only control I can locate is in the simple show builder. After choosing your sequences, the next screen gives you the option to run continuously or one time, etc. I can't find any other place to make or modify that choice.Ralph - did you build your show in the SSB or in the show editor? oj70chevy
im running 3.3.0 and built it in show editor. should it redo it in ssb?
oj70chevy
ok ssb work for what i want but i do have a question. when I hot the shut down time will it just stop right there or will it finish that song? or will it finish the whole list of song ( would be better) so it plays the close sequence. And last what would the show editor be user for? it it will not repeat you list of music sequence i would only see it being good it you have many sequences for just one run? Don
I use the Show Editor all the time, and any sequence I have in the Musical tab will repeat until the end of the show. If you are wanting your show to repeat (which is the default action in the Show Editor), and it's not doing so, then I would refer back to my troubleshooting suggestions.Standard protocol for LOR Software is that when the end time of a show is reached, any musical sequence will always finish playing. Anything listed in the Shutdown tab will then play. An animation sequence will stop right immediately, and then the Shutdown tab will play. George Simmons
I can't explain why the loop option isn't anywhere to be found in the show editor. Seems like a good idea for the next version. The SSB is just that - simple and easy to use. The show editor gives much more flexibility for people who want to get further under the hood. I usually use the SSB to make sure I've got all the sequences I want, then I go to the show builder and arrange the sequences and announcements in the order I want them to play. As the season goes along and I add songs, I use the show editor because that's the only tool that allows a simple change without having to start from the beginning again.
