downloaded a free sequence how to load in to sequence editor do i need to get out of zip file all that comes up is not sure of duration

Yes, you will need to unzip the file.

Open the Sequence Editor, then open the sequence file. You will probably have to click "Edit -> Media File" to select the media file. (And if you move the files later, you will need to the Edit -> Media File again.)

When you say no sequence, what do you see when you open it up in the Sequence Editor?

Or is there no sequence file in the zipped folder?
