Two years ago my computer crashed and wouldn't even boot up. I found a fellow that specialized in fixing crashed computers. He came to my house with some special equipment and in a couple of hours had it up and running and the data restored. He charged $200 and guaranteed he would either get the computer running or there was no charge. I expect there are people in your area that do something similar for about the same price.
