LuckyDawg Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 I bought the whole house transmitter before I read that it did not work well. I am trying to make it work for at least this year. Here is my problem though, I hooked everything thing up and started my show. I went out to my truck to tune in the station to see how it sounded and it actually worked except for this annoying humming sound while the song was playing. 75redman Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 Try turning the volume down some on the computer and up on the transmitter. Also in the battery compartment under the UL sticker is a booster switch. This is what has worked for me. I can hear the transmission 1 block away. Hope this helps. dgrant Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Yeah, with different FM transmitters, you can get the ac hum from either too little or too much signal going to it from the audio source.
