Looking for 12 volt strings of lights

I want to build a animated shooting star with my LOR 12v 16ch controller. Need a source to buy string of lights in 12 volt. Of course a in expensive price.

Please advise.

Well, if you're up to some hacking... Standard 100-count incandescents are 2.5v per bulb. That means if you cut off a series of 6 of them, that would be 15V, which would run nicely on the 12V controller. I used to have a small tree in the back window of my car years ago that I wired up like that.

Could you use 12V 5050 RGB strips?

LED light rope is also available in 12V DC - and can be cut in just over 3 inch sections.
