Would it be possible to cut a string of cdi leds in half and then use stp 1 wire to build in a gap by soldering to the three wires on both sides.Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SoCalJimH Posted November 17, 2012 Share Posted November 17, 2012 I have done so- Usually LED strings are 2 - 3wire strings connected by a short section of 2 wires. You can easily mark one wire (to ID it) and then cut and make your splice. Make certain that you maintain the polarity of those 2 wires!Good luck!
