How do you mount Wireframes to a roof

Just curious how everyone else mounts wireframes on the roof. I was thinking about building a 1" schedule 80 pvc frame and weighting it down with sand bags.

The wire frames are 1/4" with ground stakes. I was thinking about making a squre frame and putting 1" T's where the ground stakes are on the wire frame then adding a 1" nipple on the T's for the ground stakes to sit in, then would add a guide wire from the top of the wireframe to the back of the support frame to support, this will be on a sloped roof, or wouold it be better to build a 2x4 frame then weight that down with sand bags? Size of wireframes are 62"x40", and 69"x45", I would make seperate frames for each.
