WHT bad quality

My suggestion is to send it back and get you one from www.dagcoelectronics.com . I started out with the WHT and even after modifying the unit and adding a booster and outside antenna, I never could get the results I needed. The unit below is the way to go. I now get close to a mile with mine. I could not be more pleased with the transmitter.

I own one of these as well. Second year for mine, very pleased with it. Out of my basement ,it reaches out to about a half mile then drops off quickly. I use the little rubber antena that came with it. If I recall correctly , you're not to power it up without an antena hooked up. Best deal is to purchase the combo setup, comes with everything you'll need.

Jerry are you running it at 500mw or 100mw? I'm running it the 100mw setting volume set about 10 o'clock and can reach about 2.5 blocks then fades out. On the 500mw setting was reaching about a mile. Moving mine to the basement to try to knock it down more. Hoping for a 1 block radius.
