I bought one a few months ago. Have not put it in service yet, but should shortly. Currently expected to only use 3 channels.I hope you can find the 2 your require. kevin Posted November 2, 2012 Share Posted November 2, 2012 These are the original version 1 of the CTB-08 controllers with the optional heat sinks, not the 8D version. I updated the frimware chip to version 2.0. Which is the most current one. The do not do the fancy multiple effects like Fade while twinkling and that kind of stuff. The firmware is hard code in the chip so the only way to update firmware is with a chip upgrade, no downloadable firmware upgrade.
