Ralph D
hey guys, I need a little help. A few years ago I bought a really good antenna for my transmitter, I now need to replace the coaxial cable that runs between my antenna and my transmitter, it's cracking the wires coming through the casing so it's time to replace it, I'm sure there's places in the states that sell this cable I can't see that it would be something impossible to find around here. to have it shipped from the company I bought it from to hear is more than the original antenna was itself with the collapse included. over $170. Here is what I'm looking for: 30 feet of H2000 flex coaxial cable with pl259 and bnc connector, both installed. anybody know the good place I can buy this cable from. thanks for your help
columbus27
Can't you use high quality 50 ohm tv coaxial cable and get a BNC adapter at radio shack. Or you can search the web for a local ham radio or cb shop. And they can cut you a piece and install the BNC connector. This is where I get my stuff at here in Ohio http://www.universal-radio.com/
Ralph D
I truly have no idea what the differences are. but I did find and cb hobby shop today and bought a 27 foot 50 ohm coaxial cable and the bnc connector, we will see if it works. at a total coast of 32.00 a far cry for the 168.00 plus shipping the other company wanted to charge me. some people just are looking to rip us off at every turn. unbelievable!
