  1. Color fade tool
  2. Select the color you want on the left hand side. Hit OK
  3. Hit the "copy" button on the right hand side to copy the color to both halves of the fade.
  4. Apply this "fade" at will.

It's all in LOR S3. Open a sequence then TOOLs menu--> Color Fade. Look up how to use it in the 'Help' menu, just search "color fade". It's all there, it takes a bit of getting use to, but actually quite easy once you play around with it.

Is there a way to change the color on RGB short of redrawing? I wish there was a way to highlight a section and then select a new color. I have many sequences that were originally not RGB and would LOVE to change the color without having to re-draw. Especially if there are effects involved.

No, but I like the idea...

What would be good is if you could have LOR output in real time while you select color. Almost all laser software has done this for the last 20 years so I know it can't be that far fetched.

If they had a "LIVE" button or some such that you could use to keep the output live while you select the color, or effect.. that would be awesome.. Has there been any discussion on this? Can you do it and I just don't know how?

I disagree. There is a way using copy and paste. In this thread I describe how you can expand RGB channelsto their component Red Green and Blue color channels. Once you have an RGB expanded like this, you can copy the effects from an existing sequence and past them into a specific color. Or, you can copy them to the parent RGB channel and they will appear white with all three channels mirrored. You can either copy acroos from a sequence, or add the RGB channels to the existing then copy the effects and remove the old channels. I use the former.

True, Jeff. I thought he was talking about the general case: e.g. you have selected an "orange" from the color fade tool and doing a chase with it, and you want to change it to a hot pink.

It would be a cool feature enhancement to be able to pick a color, and select a region, and have the sequence editor change any instances of that color within that region to a different color.
