One Month to "Lights On"!

If you fire up your display on Thanksgiving evening like me, we have one month to git-r-dun.

I have so much to do, I hope the weather holds out.

Having some RGB lights up for Halloween does help in getting a head start but still lots to be done.

Hush, boy, hush. :P

I'm with you. So much to do, so little time...

I will be flipping the switch the day after. Just finishing my facebook sign and my last sequence. Will start putting my lights up the weekend after Halloween.

I started putting stuff up! Four houses this year.

Can I quit work for the next 30 days so I can catch up on my lights and programming?

The sad part is.... many newbie's come here thinking that very thing. Just plug it in and it works.

No wonder you haven't been on the forum much! Missed ya.

I have created a monster with the people on my little country lane. They have come to expect the lights to be turned on Thanksgiving evening when their families are over. Do dinner, the light show and then back home for pie. So, no pressure to get it done by then. Ya, right!

that is so right, it takes more time in front of the computer than all the other stuff combined

I hear ya MP. They'll never realize what really goes into it, they'll just expect it. But they'll enjoy it I'm sure.

I start the installing today on the house. I have to admit that I paid someone to do my programming this year. It was well worth it!!! Now I have to do my part and install it. About 180K of lights so most my time is testing them before and after install. LOL

Can't wait to get home from work tonight... going to start the roof lights then and I'll continue getting lights up tomorrow too since I don't have to work... errrrr, that doesn't sound right since I'll be working 10x harder then when I'm at my day job. ;)

Yep, not getting paid for it either. But it's a different kind of work. It's fun work.

It will be almost like I'm glad to get back to work so I can take a break. :P But not really...

I'm taking off tomorrow as well to get lights up. :)
