Cheapest White LED strings for Mini-Trees

Hey folks. I've put off working on my show for way to long now and am now in rush mode so this is going to be short and sweet. I have 9 Mini-Trees about 3ft tall. I'm looking for the cheapest LED strands of solid white (please no yellow white) that you guys have come across. Preferably nothing larger them M5's ( so basically 5mm LED's or Mini-M5's). Hopefully this topic can save me a few hours searching aimlessly for the cheapest LED's out there. Thanks in advance!

Check out Big Lots and Walmart. Use caution- some cheap lights might still have steel leads in the LED bulbs. (can be checked with a simple magnet)

Popular names for what you are looking for- "Cool White" or "Pure White"- both have more blue in them. Lack of blue gives you "Warm White" to "Antique White".

Good Hunting.

Black Friday HD. Last year was $2.50 a box (50 count) cool white or multi color.

Talk about last minute. I need 34 box to finish my mini trees.

I still have 60+ boxes of multi from HD black friday sale......that's by far the cheapest you'll find them (if you can wait till Black Friday). I still have some Lowe's 50/100 clear that I got last year after Christmas but not sure what I'm doing with those yet.

Well, I may wait until black friday but then again, I might have my show running by then. I was looking for some suggestions for websites where I can buy right now but thanks for all the suggestions! keep them coming!

I've used the HD black Friday LED's for two years now. The first year they were $1.98, second year $2.50, wish I had bought more the first year. I checked some last night, leads didn't stick to a magnet, but they do corrode on occasion. I however have had only three string failures over two years on almost 4 cases worth of lights. The one thing I do not know and have not tried, is fading them. Has anyone tried this yet?

If you have problems with fading, do a search on snubbers, there are lots of threads about them and how to make.

I too am looking for a particular white M5 type. Walmart changed their vendor apparently. I used a couple strands from an element to use on another element with plans to get new ones at Walmart. Arrrrg!
