4 brand new 1602W controllers for sale

I have 4 brand new controllers for sale. These are not kits. They came fully assembled from LOR and are in their original boxes. They have never been used.

I would prefer to sell all four to one person to make this simpler. If one person buys all, I'd like to get the Summer Sale Price of $279.97 each ($1,119.85 total).

If no one is interested in purchasing all 4 of these, I will sell them individually for 15% off the current LOR price which is $288.95 each.

The controllers are in LasVegas. You can pick up there for free or I will ship for the actual shipping costs.

Send a PM or you can email me at edu@west-point.org

I also have one 1602W controller that was used for one season. I will sell that for $259.99.

If these are not sold by Sunday at 9pm Eastern look for them at my ebay store: http://stores.ebay.c...oving-Christmas (Note, my 100% positive feedback)

  • 2 months later...

I've wondered since Sept. how the 1602s got to Vegas in the first place? Hitchhiking?

Maybe I brought them out with me to play with in my room on my last gambling trip. :) I imagine that they also make great collateral at a pawn shop if gambling isn't going so well.

But, yes I have the used one left. I sold the 4 new ones relatively quickly to someone from the forum. This one would have been sold on ebay already had I not go so busy with my Halloween and Christmas displays.

It seems that some forum members don't like it when people sell stuff that we don't need here-even if the price is less than LOR and less than ebay. I'm not sure the reason for this. If you don't need something, it works and someone else needs it, why not sell it and help someone save some money while you take in a little money to buy something that you need for your own show. I bought some rainbow floods here and was thankful that I saved some money doing so.

I still don't understand why it makes a difference if I have 1 PC controller, 10 or if I have none. Although, to be honest, I have not been wondering if I'd get an answer to that question since September.

George, I hope that you didn't loose any sleep. I don't want you to wonder for another 3 months. So, I will tell you how they got to Vegas. I bought them out there and then realized that it was too expensive to ship them back here. My friend is helping me ship them when I find buyers.

Maybe the person that purchased from me will comment that controllers arrived exactly as described.

Okay, this is getting ugly. May I suggest that everyone sit down and think before posting? I have met "The Chin" and borrowed a CCR from him. Where or how he gets controllers or CCR's above and beyond what he "needs" is his business, and if he wants to sell off excess items, thats his business.

I think the original postings raised some eyebrows (and some red flags) because you were selling a lot of "brand new in box" stuff. And that's unusual, unless you're a LOR distributor. I kind of assumed you bought a bunch of stuff during a sale and were trying to cash in on it. Nothing wrong with that I guess, although I know some here would frown on it.

No offense meant - just trying to shed some light on the "mystery".

I bought a CCR from Ed. It worked perfectly. Not only that, he gave me his phone number to call when I was having troubles figuring it out. Ed even invited me (a stranger) into his house to talk about LOR ideas. He is a nice guy and the furthest from a Dick that I can imagine.

FYI: Being a capitalist is not remotely "dick-ish"

If you are buying these on sale and selling them to make money, more power to you. LOR may frown on that here on these forums, I don't know, but that's not my business. The only issue I had was when someone asked you why you were selling, you said "you decided not to use them" and "I don't need them anymore". Well perhaps technically true, it's misleading if you bought them with the intent to resell.

Thanks Tim. No offense taken. This obviously isn't my business. When I come across an extreme bargain, I scoop it up. Sometimes it makes it into my display, sometimes I resell it and use the money to supplement my hobby. Only supplement as I have you to have enough "profit" in to pay for even the controllers in my display.

Funny that you mention distributors here. A LOR partner actually purchased the 4 new controllers as they were cheaper than the price he gets from LOR.
