nutz4lights
Long story short, I bought these from an esteemed vendor that claimed they were dimmable... and they are not. They ARE, however, extremely bright. Problem is, I need everything to dim. Even though this is the LOR forum, I thought maybe someone might be interested. I have a dozen each of red, green, and warm white. These were $30+ each new, never used aside from testing, at which it was discovered that they didn't dim... and after a year of tip-toeing around with the esteemed vendor, I'm done waiting for my money back... these have to go. Make me some offers. These are in the original boxes and can ship quickly.Thanks,-Louie

nutz4lights
Hi TJ,This is from the manufacturer's website:Congratulations: You are making wise money and energy saving choices!________ LED Lamps are powered by ultra high intensity LED’s perfect for use in recessed lighting, down lights, light cans, stake lights or other directional light applications. You will not find a comparable lamp elsewhere. They are sized and shaped as comparable PAR bulbs. They are rugged solid state device that are water tight and moisture resistant & highly shock and vibration resistant. They contain no fragile filaments. They can be used outdoors, even in high humidity environments (as long as the base is not directly exposed to water). The key is the underlined part above. Before ordering these myself, I read up on what that meant. Basically, the socket you screw these into has to be sealed well (usually with a rubber gasket that typically comes with the nicer sockets for the interface between the bulb and the socket). The socket should also have some kind of weep hole. I didn't end up getting to use these, but the sockets I purchased from Lowes for my halogen floods had both the rubber gasket available and the threaded weep hole (you simply remove a screw and then it would be self draining).-Louie

nutz4lights
Sorry for the delayed response, these bulbs have 120 LEDs in them. I haven't checked what's available this year, but last year when I bought them, they had the highest LED count of any of the PAR38 bulbs available.-Louie
