Guest wbottomley
At the top of this forum, click "S3 Video Tutorials." You need to read and watch them.

Don
The Visualizer video would be very long. It's a great program, but has a lot of bells and whistles to it. Here is a tutorial for the visualizer. The section called "Drawing Lights and Creating Fixtures" will give you a good overview of the basics involved with creating objects in the visualizer. What do you want to do with your display this year? Take that information and seek out what it is you need in order to do that.At the very least you will want to know:How to create a sequence. How to create a show. How to schedule a show. How to have the software set up to run the show you've scheduled. How to connect the controller to your computer via the USB485 adapter. You'll want to read about the Sequence Editor, Show Editor, Schedule Editor, and review how to install the drivers for your USB485 adapter. Max-Paul
in your first post to this thread you said "Where should I start". I will correct that, it should have read "When should I start?". The answer is shortly after you joined this forum. Not two months before show time. I agree with watching all of the videos, and go straight to your computer after work or school. No sex life or going out for a beer with the boys until you have your show up and running. You waited to long for any other advise I can give to you.
