rickodom
So many dead Linux threads in here... this one shouldn't die too quick. So I managed to get LOR to run off my ASUS Tablet... anyone else do something similar? Edited September 21, 2012 by LORAdmin

rickodom
I had gotten a table recently (ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101 16GB) so started recently seeing if there was a way to install Linux.. I managed to find some instructions (Link) to install Debian which also work with other Linux Flavors. Works pretty good if you ask me for running my show off of it. I'm new to the LOR scene so not sure if more channels means more requirements for the host as I've only tested it with a few strands of lights. Once you get Ubuntu on... install Wine, then the LOR software.
Max-Paul
Its not the number of channels in of it's self. Its the number of commands and the frequency of those commands that will load down the computer and more importantly the LOR network.
