bjlled
Id like to keep the icicle list on overnight. Is this possible? If so, how?
Don
You could create a 1 minute sequence with only your icicles on. Then schedule that into an 'overnight' show, which would be scheduled to run overnight. When creating the show make sure 'Lights off at end' is not checked. dstevens
If I am understanding you correctly, you want to keep some lights on overnight (after your show ends)? If so, it is pretty easy to do.1. Create an animation sequence for 1 minute in length. Turn on the lights you want (icicles) for the entire sequence.2. Create a new show (different for your main show). Call it overnight, for example. Add in your new sequence only to this show. Uncheck the turn lights off option.3. Use the scheduler to schedule the overnight show to run right after the main show ends. If you schedule it to run from 11 pm to 6 am, it will keep playing the 1 sequence over and over again for the entire scheduled time. By unchecking the turn lights off option in step 2, the lights will stay on constantly without any flickering on and off.I do this to run some lights in static mode before and after my main show, and it works perfectly for me.If I missed anything, I'm sure others will chime in. k6ccc
I am only using LOR for landscape lighting and I keep them on all night (although they dim somewhat in the late evening). I did run into a problem wherein the lights would wink off and back on each pass of the sequence. Never could come up with a resolution. As a work around, I changed the 4 minute sequence to loop a couple hundred times. When the show ends at sunrise, everything abruptly turns off. If you do, this will cause them to "wink" off at the end of the sequence, just as you're seeing. If you uncheck that option, they'll stay on and you won't be able to tell when the sequence restarts. A couple months ago I started a tread on this problem that gives far more detail. Lots of people read it, but no one had any answers. Steven
By unchecking the turn lights off option in step 2, the lights will stay on constantly without any flickering on and off.Another way of doing this is to put the sequence in the "Background" tab instead of the "Animation" tab ("Standard" or "Advanced" license needed). Lights on sequences in the background tab will not flicker when they repeat.
Guest Don Gillespie
when you say leave them on all night at what time do you want them to shut off? then create an animation and run it until the time you want it to shut off. no more flicker problems
Max-Paul
I'll Chime in on side of making a second show. Have it start when the main show ends. And then stop the 2nd show in the morning.Example, from 6pm to 11pm, Mon - Sun. Show "Lights Show" runs. I then build a 2nd show named "Night Lights" and schedule it to run 11:01pm to 6am
