Ted W
I just learned how to use the chase feature for my arches, the video is great. I hav 2 questions1. My program does not show the same picture as does the video, my cells are colered and I get red faded in / out cells when doing a chase fade??????2. When creating a chase from top left to bottom right, is there a way to flip or mirror the sequence so the next set of cells start at the bottom and go up to the upper right? Orville
Unfortunately no, you have to place the first fade in the cells at the bottom left and then use the fade chase tool to go up the opposite way,Although I think Bob here {Itsmebobo} may have a software tool that can do this. But there is nothing in the LOR SE that will do it automatically or allow you to flip it to go the opposite way. Orville
That's not what the OP is wanting, he is wanting it on the same line of cells, where one set will go from upper left to lower right, then take that same set of cells, flip it or invert it, so that it reverses from the previous set and goes from the lower left to the upper right. But it can be done that way as shown in the video you posted by doing a copy and paste from those cells to the right of the previous ones. But as far as I know there is no way to just do a flip,or invert to reverse or change the direction of a chase, like having arches that would flow to the right, then back to the left in the LOR SE. There are no flip or invert tools/options in the LOR SE. But I know a lot of us have asked and wish there were, as it would help with some areas of creating such sequencing much easier. But again, I think Bob {itsmebobo} has a tool that will do this, then you just copy it from the clipboard into the sequence. Hopefully he'll chime in here and let us know wether his software does this or not. But I do seem to recall reading he had developed a such a tool. shfr26
It will do that in a chase if you put the first one on the cell you want and then drag it up. First cell top right, chase to bottom, next cell on, chase from bottom to top. Can't do a screen shot here dang it. JUst did one with using chase only and it appears to work fine for me.Try this link and look for "mirror"http://forums.lightorama.com/index.php?/topic/16401-bobs-videos/page__hl__chases Edited September 16, 2012 by shfr26
