CCP in 2 strings in visualizer... (Help!)

Okay, I have the CCD added as CCPs with two strings in the sequencer. All are set to Unit ID 04. When I try to use the CCR drawing tool in visualizer to draw my four arches (two are on the left of my display and two on the right so they are not continuous) I get the first two done fine and then draw the second two but I can't start the second set of arches at pixel 51. This causes and error in the visualizer. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong drawing them or maybe I just can't use the CCR drawing tool for CCPs. Anyways... Any advice so I can get these to visualize my sequence?

Thanks!

When you add a CCD to the Sequence Editor, in the "Add Device" window, click on "Show Advanced Options" and you should have these checked;

  • Unit ID: 04
  • Network: Regular (assuming you're using 1 network)
  • Type: CCB With 2 Strings
  • Advanced Options: Resolution 50 Pixels
  • Channel Mode: Triples (RGB, RGB, RGB,...)
  • Base Unit ID Mode: Native Mode (single Unit ID)
  • Unit ID for CCB String 2: String 2 has it's own Unit ID (native mode Unit ID + 1)

To double check, expand the CCD in the SE and click on the first RGB channel of String 1 to expand, and it should have Unit ID 04, string 2 should say Unit ID 05.

Now, to make it work in the visualizer,you must create 2 Strings with sequential ID #'s, (i.e.) String 1, Left arches, Unit ID 04; String 2, Right Arches, Unit ID 05.

You should have a set of Macro channels for each string also.

I have 4 sets of CCPs and I have 8 separate Unit IDs in both the Visualizer and the SE.

Hope this helps And hope I haven't confused you too much,

Ron
