TheUltimate
I have an opportunity to get a bunch of used mini lights which I need for my display. Any recommendations on preparing them for the season to limit the chances of a string going bad during the season?
shfr26
Don't think there is any prep you can do. Plug them in, if they work use them, if not, toss them.
Jerry
I wouldn't buy used minis myself. If you do , make sure you use them in a spot that would be easy to take down and replace.
George Simmons
I wouldn't buy used minis myself. I definitely wouldn't buy them without seeing them first or without plugging them in. But other than that, if they look like they're in good shape I don't see where they'd be any more or less reliable as any other string of incans in your inventory. If you do , make sure you use them in a spot that would be easy to take down and replace. I'd say that's good advice for ANY string of incans.BTW Ultimate one, if your deal falls through, I've got about 8 tubs of minis (red, green, clear) including net lights and rope light and more that are currently looking for someone to adopt them. I needed the space in my shed and now they're in the garage and they've gotta go. No semi-reasonable offer refused...
