Santas Helper
All summer it has been way too hot to get anything done outside, setting temperature records thru-out the summer. Too hot in the garage or the shop and the ground hard as a rock due to the lack of rain. After reaching a record high temp of 105 degrees yesterday, a cold front came in the early evening and cooled it down 40 degrees in just a few hours to 65 degrees. This morning being 61 degrees, I'm ready to get out early and get some stuff done. What a breath of cool fresh air. Gets me motivated to do stuff I'm behind on.How about you? Has the weather set you back any? Heat, humidity or rain?
larrym20
You in north Texas? Sounds like what we've been going through here in DFW. Just in time for the mini/meeting/get together that I'm holding today, was really afraid it was going to be too hot to work.

Hilliard Lights
No such blessings here in sunny Florida- our lows are still in the 70's and highs in the mid 90's... I have to keep reminding myself that the perk is I can usually set up and tear down in shorts and a t-shirt and not worry about snow!
DougP
Tell me about the heat. I've been welding in all of this heat. Had to stop in the middle of the day because of it. We are at 58 right now and feels great.
