thobby04@gmail.com
I was thinking about putting a food donation barrel in the driveway for a local non-profit. Any lessons learned that you want to pass on (ie pranks you've encountered, canned goods only or boxed goods only signage etc.)
columbus27
I put a fork and knife photo on one of those big rubber made containers. And I dispose of the out of date items our food bank wont take them, or baby food (they got sued).
thobby04@gmail.com
Have you had any vandal issues concerning the food drive?
TJ Hvasta
We had our barrel out in the driveway each night during the week long Halloween show for the St. Marys Food Bank, we were outside with it so no shenanigans happened.. brought it in when we came in too. Didnt have it out during Christmas show except on weekends when we'd drag out the firepit and sit and talk with the visitors.
columbus27
I haven't had any vandalism. The biggest issue is delivering the cans and having enough boxes. During the peek my show runs to 12. There are always people out.
