How difficult is it...

I saw this kit and it is significantly less expensive that the completed 16 channel box. It states that it is a complete package and no soldering is required.

Has anyone built one, how hard was it, and does it work as well as the prepared box?

I just assembled 5 of them. Piece of cake, just takes a little time.
