Channel Names missing

Recommended Posts

OK, this is weird. I have been programming my add ins for this year and I noticed that my channel names are missing. The channels are all there, but all of the names are gone. If I click on them, the information all shows up, and I can see the name flash on as the sequence runs, but when not running, they are blank. I have installed all the upgrades and they are still blank. Any thoughts on this?

Check under play preferences.. if you have checked the box for change font color, and its an rgb channel it could be black on black so not seen.

I'm not sure i understand what you're seeing on the screen. However, you may have accidently hidden the channel name pane. You may just need to double click on the vertical gray dividing bar located on the left of the sequencing screen and to the right of the tools window.

If that's it, click the push pin in the top right corner of the channel pane and it will stay there

Thanks for the responses. The channel buttons are all there, but there are no names on them. I can click on the button and bring up the channel settings pane. I have changed the settings to show the color the channel has assigned, so they all are colored, but still no names. I can hide the buttons, but I currently do not have them hidden. I have been using LOR for about 15 years now and have never seen this issue. Everything is working correctly, just no names on the channel buttons.

Had the same problem don't know if you have tried this when it happened to me I forgot I zoomed my channels out so it made the screen smaller so I could see every channel and element when I was done for the night I forgot to zoom the channels in so it spread the channels out again, so when I opened my sequence it wouldn't show me the channels took a while but I figured it out. hope this works for you.

Thank you very much Don, you were spot on. I must zoomed it out for some reason and it made them vanish. I zoomed in one time and they came back. You are awesome.

Ya, but what gets me so nervous is that the next few lines go something about "I want you, want you!"

I sure do hope that I am not on the short list. LOL
