New and confused

My dads looking to build his first display mostly looking at using some of the 5050 lights on the house. The problem is he also has two small gardens he wants to light with team colors during football season and have them flash back and forth. Can any one recommend a controler for this I just need something that I can tell it what two colors to flash between. The power lines had been buried already so anything I would have to bury more cables isn't practicle. Even a flashing controler that can drive single color led's would work.

for 5050 you will need a dc controller and a ac controller would do the football colours just fine

just sorce the colour lights for your team and the 5050 rgb strips

Or just get an AC LOR controller and run both. Use wal-warts for the 12vdc lights plugged into the AC controller to run those single color LEDs.

For others, please don't tell me this won't work. I've heard it a million times.

I've done this (for over 5 years) and yes, it works just fine and with all the special effects too.

One controller can do it all (up to 16 channels anyway).
