rfloyd8
According to the literature Basic Plus will operate 4 LOR Controllers. Can anyone tell me that if I "address" 2 Controllers as #1 can I sill use 3 additional Controllers? Thanks,Ronnie
greywolf
i don't think so it might cause conflict issues with the settings if i understand it correctly for the controllers to work properly they have to be set individually 1, 2, 3, ext. George Simmons
That software level can control up to 4 individual Unit IDs. I don't believe it can tell how many controllers are connected, just how many individual addresses it's sending commands to. You should be fine. Godney
yes you can use more than 4 contollers, but their IDs cannot go above 4 unit IDs total ,because i am also using basic plus using 5 controllers 2 of them for my megatree have the same unit id and i have never had any problems. TJ Hvasta
yep, you can have as many controllers as you want, all with the same unit number, but they will all do the same thing.

dknahoolewa
Sounds like a dumd question but why would you want (2) controllers with the same ID. Only thing i can think of is keeping the power down. In that case you probably have to many lights or need need go switch to LED. LOLyou can never have to many lights. TJ Hvasta
Mirror two sides of the yard, run 16 mini trees, and a 16string MegaTree without plugging into the same outlets. Many reasons to mirror, or have same effects, different places.
