tjflory
Greetings all!Any opinions why I should or should not have LOR DC card and power supply in same box? Thanks in advance!tj
Max-Paul
Only reason not to put them both in the same box is cause it would not fit. Have had this situation for the past 2 yrs and not problems. Going to have another one this year. Just be careful that there is no chance that the A.C. current shorts to a D.C. path.

Max-Paul
Do you have any vent holes or a sealed box? Thanks!tjOk, first I need to say I live in mid Missouri. So the evening temperatures are about 45 and day might get up to about 65. I just use the good old stand by CG-1500 box. These are not air tight so some air exchange is going to happen. But I have not added any extra vent holes and doubt that anyone else has.

The temp was in the hundreds for my july 4 show.I'm really leaning toward separate boxes. I was hoping I would not have to use fans as well.Maybe both in 1 box with a fan? Thanks!tj
TJ Hvasta
Is it a PC power supply or one of the smaller low-profile supplys? Does it already have a fan? You can install a small 2"-3" muffin fan if you desire, exhausting outward to vent the heat.. the board itself shouldnt get that warm.
