Help downloading new sequences

I can't figure out how to get the new sequences I purchases from LOR onto my editor visuallizer or anything. I also downloaded a few sequences from the forums. I can see them all on my computer until I try to use the file open. then I don't even see them on my C drive or My Documents. Confussed and frustrated. :(

I thought the LOR Sequences came in executable form, which would install everything in the correct directories for you.

When you are downloading the sequences from LOR, are you downloading a .ZIP, .EXE or .LMS file?

If it's an .EXE, then you would run the .EXE file.

If it's .ZIP or .LMS, you would need to place the .LMS file in your sequences directory. The sequences directory is in your Light-O-Rama folder, which by default is in your "My Documents" area of the computer.

I have got the sequence to download on the computer now that all the license stuff is complete. but now I have set up made my first stage in visualizer and then loaded the sequence from LOR and it won't animate. When I click play it just takes all the lights off the house and sits there. Will the visualizer play it back light I have set it up? I set up all the channels and everything.

On a second note. I have downloaded two other LOR sequences from sight from this forum and they don' show up as an option to load to my setup in vizualizer.

I still have recieved my controller yet. Do you have to have it? Only want the computer to show

You have to have them in the correct folder. My Documents>Lght O Rama>Sequences. First you have to figure out what file type you downloaded, as Don mentioned. I would bet they are zip files and need to be unzipped and put in the correct folder. It is the same for the music files, but instead of Sequences folder, they go in the Music folder.

You don't have to have the controller attached to to create sequences or play them.

You do know how to go to "My Computer" and then the "C" drive and look in the different directories? Have you ever listed a directory in detail mode so you can see the different files. Files that end like .exe or .txt, right? So, they are asking what file extension do you see after those files in question.
