DMX Cat 5 Network

I've read a few other posts related to this topic but wanted clarification before I move forward for this year. I'm wanting to use 1 Universe with multiple DMX items on that Universe. As long as each DMX device has it's own power supply I should be able to install two Cat 5e female connection jacks and run a cable into the first device and out to the second device. Making sure that wires 4 and 5 and bound together on both connection jacks. Is this right?

PC------>DMX Dongle------->DMX Device 1--------->DMX Device 2-------->etc

Looks correct to me, as long as you are not "power injecting" those cat5 wires.
