The wife suprised me by buying me another controller for my display!!! I bought a 32ch starter set in March. I am currently working on my fourth song for my show.

My question to the PROS is what are some easy elements to add without having to redo these sequences that I have already completed?

I have two "firesticks"...7 channels each upright poles which I use the VU Wizard to program. They dance up and down to the beat of the music.

Or even arches...both easily added or removed...with channels left over for a couple strobes for those "special" moments. ;)

Have Fun!

p.s. I'm No Where Near a Pro...just a small voice in the woods...

Another good prop would be a candy cane pinwheel. Eight candy canes in a circle. Each one is a channel. Easy to add and program.

Lots of options and they look great. I too am by no means a pro just thought the spinner/pinwheel would be worth mentioning.

You've got a wonderful wife there. Tell her now is the time to stock up for Christmas :)

And who in the world said you have to "redo" sequences. You just add channels to your sequences each time you add a new element.

Mini trees are easy. Washes on the house.

Not sure what you already have in your layout so it's hard to say.

Agree with Tom make a master track and add your new channels under your old channels that way you never have to redo all your sequences you just have to add the new elements to your old sequences.

I agree with Tom and Don. I should have been a bit clearer in my first reply.

I choose to add my new props as Tracks. It makes it easy to just program the new prop in relation to your main track because they will be in time with each other.

As of this year I have what I call my main Track, that was everything I started with last year. Ihave a track I call Candy Canes I also have a track I call Firesticks.

Those tracks are the new props I added this year. Just my opinion but I think doing it this way makes it easy to keep things in order.

Thanks guys. I think its a toss up between pinwheels and fire sticks. Maybe ill do a pinwheel on top of a fire stick. Yep, I think ill do that.

Thanks again for the input.

Don't thank us. Thank your wife. She's buying LOR goodies. :D

And to think Christmas is just around the corner, in time for another controller. ;)

Well I decided to do something else. I already had 6 mimi trees that are white. I will be dedicating 12 ch. to these trees so I can change the color. Will be adding red and green. The other four ch. will be the four windows on my house. Maybe I will do the pinwheel firesticks next year. Unless the wife suprises me again.
