milateket
My work requires me to drive on average 140 km (90 miles) per day. I travel in a rural area and over the past few years learned every curve, bump, hill and deer crossing there is. Traffic is VERY light thus I end up "thinking" on my travels. It was close to 30 degrees (86F) plus a humidex here today. I was driving along near the end of the day thinking about leaving the kids with their grandmother and stopping at the store for a few cold refreshments to enjoy at the beach after a nice swim in the Atlantic Ocean.Somewhere during the thought of cool refreshments and beaches I got side tracked and started to think about getting some green LEDs for my display. Which got me thinking about starting to program a few songs. Which got me to thinking about how many elements I would have this year (it will be my second year for displays). And so on... I was parked in my yard looking at the roof lines when I realized that I just drove 30km (15 miles) missing the store and the beach and everything else in between.Do I have a problem? Can't wait to get started! milateket
Reminds me of Chevy Chase in Vegas Vacation. You did not almost run some kidds over and smash some trash cans did you? If not I think it is normal. At least for us addicts. Forgot about that scene... i did not hear of any property or kid destruction today. So that is good! Before i was an addict i was a Blackhawks fan. I found a hockey BHawks white jersey with 00 and GRISWOLD on it. It will be on my back starting in November. dkoehler42
Does anyone else pause midway through, wondering should I be doing this? Will I annoy the neighbors? Seems like this creeps up on me every year midway through. Edited August 8, 2012 by dkoehler42
ErnieHorning
If you're not annoying at least one person, you’re not trying hard enough. Edited August 8, 2012 by ErnieHorning
