I was having the same problem as I am new to singing faces this year too. I found some very inexpensive (less than $10) sequences for sale at www.holidaycoro.com. You can buy one to look at and play around with to get a grip on how it's done. Hope this helps.

Yes it is. Create your singing face using light strings, assign the channels to the different parts of the face (like mouth positions), then the face will "sing" when you play a sequence. Hope that helps

Holidaycoro has the coro pumpkins, santas, etc...

http://www.holidaycoro.com/category-s/1863.htm

You take these, use standard incans (not sure on LEDs) and push them through the back so that the light sticks out fromnt for the outline...

Scooby; I assume you are talking about downloading a singing face prop for the visualizer. Have you looked through the the forum topic "official S3 LOR visualizer props..." Under "Lor Software" - "LOR visualizer"? I haven't looked, so I don't know if there is one or not. This is my "face".

If you would like me to email you the sequence with the visualizer file (I guess I can do that, although I don't now how) send me a PM with your eamil address.

  • 2 weeks later...

i highly recommend using Papagayo for singing faces. 4th Of July was my first attempt at singing faces. I gotta feeling and Firework were done by me from scratch (using Papagayo), the others were purchased. You can see my videos here, http://www.youtube.com/gotbluemilk1. Here is Bob's very helpful post/video on how to use Papagayo, along with his software to convert the file to LOR. http://forums.lightorama.com/index.php?/topic/20318-how-to-video-on-using-papagayo-for-mouth-movements/page__hl__papagayo
