I can pay for shipping and possibly a little more for you to make something off this deal but I cannot go over $75 I have the software and everything just no controller.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyQPS0X1NWwThis is a RAW edit of one of my songs in the visualizer...More to come! Max-Paul
You might be the most honest person on earth. But in the past year or two we have seen someone who begged that someone loan a controller or two. There was a shortage that year. Well lets just say that there was a problem. Maybe someone will come to your resue. In my opinion, I am going to tell you this and this also takes in account the down turn in the job markets. Take this year and get the software, even if it is just the demo. Save your pennys and get the controller next year. I sure would not loan or rent out one of my controllers without at least the rent fee and 100% the cost of the controller as colateral. And $75 is about 50 bucks less than the cost of a controller
rescue_653
I agree with Max Paul, I'm sorry but $75 just is not worth the risk of renting out my equipment. And honestly $75 for a season of rental is no offense but a joke of a request anyway. Like the previous poster said save up some money and take baby steps.

dollarchip7
Shipping back and forth will be $40 alone.Just a side note when did you start your shows in Estero? I use to live there (2002-2010) And never heard of your shows or that anyone did them in Florida.
Ron Boyd
Does the kit come with instructions on where to solder and place things?Yes it does. It has very detailed instructions. If you go this route, Read each page, by all means take your time, and double check everything before you solder. I put 2 together this year plus a FM transmitter. It was my first time soldering a PCB. Everything worked just fine.Welcome to our world of happy lighting.Ron Edited July 9, 2012 by Ron Boyd
Max-Paul
As long as you can read and comprehend. And follow instructions as aligning a dot or dimple on the componet and the diagram on the board. Then it comes down to soldering quality. If you have never soldered on a P.C. board, then get a cheap kit from say Radio Shack and practice. There are videos on Youtube showing how to do this. There are so many people who have never soldered and from help here and the videos. There are a good number of people here who have never soldered before. But not have working LOR kits. LOR has a good rep for supporting newbies, even when they put a part in backwards and destroyed the part.
George Simmons
I couldn't agree more with previous posters. Another option, if you don't want to do the soldering, is a fully assembled card and you add the cords and a container/enclosure yourself. Side note - I could be wrong, but I think there have been quite a few synchronized Christmas shows done by people all over the state of Florida - for maybe ten years or longer... Guest wbottomley
I see three options.1) Purchase a Mr. Christmas to use this year.2) Save your money and buy some used ones from other users or new ones from the LOR sales event.3) I'll rent you one of mine for $75 a month with a three month minimum, plus, a $100 security deposit. When the controller is returned in great condition, the security deposit will be refunded.
dollarchip7
Well I just need the controller for the month of october and thats it not doing this year round and if this is a 16 channel system how much would that bump up my bill that month? Guest wbottomley
LOL. I'm pulling your leg. Most users have 16 channel controllers. Occasionally, you'll find an 8 channel for sale but that is rare. Wait until the sale to buy an 8 channel controller which should be less than $100 without any cords or enclosure. It can happen, but you need to wait for timing it out.

spomalley
The soldering instructions are extremely clear, although if you don't have any previous soldering experience you could find an online tutorial and get a kit from RadioShack (I think its RadioShack over there?) and practice on that first, besides if you make a mistake putting the controller together LOR will fix it for you
