So I just wanted drop in and say thanks to everyone here I just got my first LOR setup I bought a 32 channel starter with advance LOR software just to find out I am already an addict. I started last year I used the wireless Mr. Christmas and I just knew I needed to be in control of how the lights worked so here i am working on my first Halloween show and making all the props myself I will post pics when I am done. But again thanks for the amazing support in these forums.

Welcome, Justin. 2nd year newbie here. The first year was a blast. Enjoy the ride.

Edit: Oh, and if you fill out your profile a bit to let us all know where you're at, that may help you get some local help and also might help us comment on any questions you may have surrounding how the weather affects different hardware, etc.

Welcome to our wonderful world. I to am a second year newbie as Aaron is. I started with 32 channels my first year. The folks here have been very helpful, during my first year. Get ready to learn a ton. Something new about everyday.

96 Channels your first year? Whew!

Justin, Enjoy the ride. It's as fun, if not more, than a roller coaster. I've had a blast.

This is my first year too. I got 16 channels and quickly my mind began racing with ideas and realized I needed more more more! I was lucky to find someone on here selling 2 controllers at a really good price so now I have 48. I've got many songs sequenced but have to go back and tweak them because my ideas on props isn't working. For some reason I just can't get the tomatoe cage trees to come out the way I want. I know they should be easy... but.... so we went with arches instead. Now I have to change the songs that had trees in them and change them to arches. Just finished puttng the lights on the wedge part of my mega tree this morning but it's too hot here now to do anything else. Guess I don't need to sleep so I can do it in the middle of the night when its cooler. I have to get it done so I can see how the sequencing looks on it. It is an addiction for sure. I have Christmas lights EVERYWHERE and am looking forward to the Christmas in July sale at the thrift store. Actually have it marked on my calendar!

Yeah, figured if I'm going to do this, might as well do it all the way! Decided not to go farher this first year out in order to gauge the neighborhood's response. Will wait and possibly consider CCR's next year depending on how it goes this year. Can't wait for the season to get here!

Thats no lie sounds like a fun task to takle our yards over here arnt that big. My next door neighbor is kind enough to let me decorate his yard to lol and its still not that big. I am hoping there is a summer sale because now i want to add a couple of arches but i dont want to go to big at once unless i get it for a really good price.

That and my military comes first so i gotta balanace that with famliy. But my wife actually is having a blast sequencing some songs so that helps out alot.
