Guest guest
Just like the title says: Anyone have a link to a card that works? I am not a big fan of ebay either (I do not have a paypal account). Thanks!
Guest guest
Do you want: ISA, PCI or USB?
Guest guest
Honestly I besides USB I don't know what these are.I want to make some SSR's and switch them cheaply using the LOR software. Next year I want to add a snowman snowball fight (30-32 channels) and maybe some other things...
Guest guest
I would also like something that just did a simple and inexpensive on/off like X-10 but more accurate. Maybe LOR could develop such a board.
Guest guest
Exactly, I do not like electronics, that is why I went LOR in the first place.
Guest guest
PCI and ISA are different families of cards. Most new PCs do not support ISA but in industrial control ISA is still popular. If you have a newer PC then you would most likely need PCI.48 Channels96 Channels
Guest guest
Ouch... Is there anything cheaper?
Guest guest
I realize you said you don't like eBay, but occasionally (very occasionally) there are PCI versions of these cards on eBay. I got a 24 channel card for around $45. It was still sealed and unused with all the drivers and a breakout board. Last summer I lost an auction on a 48 channel card that sold for $65.jeff

Guest guest
Dan,I recall reading a post about someone using the USB option of the MC DIO96. I cannot find it, or even recall what the discussion was. I looked on their website and found this little gem. I am seriously considering it since it has the breakout integrated into the design. Can you recall what the discussion was. Were they successful using the USB option?jeff
