Guest guest
Yikes get a tripod dude!:smile:I got seasick in the first 30 seconds and couldn't make it any further...Might also want to adjust the exposure on your cam so as to eliminate the scan lines on the monitor.-Tim
Guest guest
From the short time I saw it, It looks good, but you can't really judge something from sequence becasue it all really depends what is hooked up to it. Here is a video of mine from this year , you can look at to get an idea...I shortened mine a littlehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nPlvSIJwyE

Guest guest
Welcome aboard, Johnny Christmas!I agree with the others - it's hard to tell what's going on in the video, but it looks like you're off to a great start. You're doing the right thing by working on your sequences early and getting a feel for the LOR software. Many times people (like me) underestimate the work that goes into sequencing and end up rushed at the last minute. You're also correct in that your sequences will work with the full version of the LOR software if you decide to purchase it. The trial version is fully functional except it won't actually control the lights. (another reason I was impressed with LOR - no 30-day expirations, nothing crippled, able to save your work, etc.)Thanks for posting your video. I hadn't seen the tip on using WME to capture video, either. ... and thanks for posting the tip, ESommer! Thanks also for the positive attitude. Many others have asked for criticism and then became 'snippy' when the feedback wasn't what they expected.

A couple of thoughts:1) To record and share the sequence on the computer, I've found CamStudio http://sourceforge.net/projects/camstudio/ an excellent and free software that will record your desktop to a video file. Check out what I did here Halloween Animation http://www.geocities.com/skippy_the_blunderdog/2) 'The Vision' you talk about would be greatly shared by using the Animation view of the LOR software. This way we can see what your layout would be and which channels you have. What I saw on your video doesn't help me much unless the plan is for it to look like accordian keys. Have you gone through some of the online tutorials that are out there?rns
