Yep, I get the same error message (attached below), both on Google Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers. Also get it when I go to the Planet Christmas website.

I don't think the LOR website and the PC website are hosted on the same server, but I'm not sure why it would be showing "Content from forums.planetchristmas.com" on these forums since they are both separate. I think it could be a false positive by Google.

They are separate. However people here use the PC Signature Generator, which does come from the planetchristmas.com.

I don't know if it's a false positive or not. I do know that the folks at PC have already taken action to resolve whatever issue there might be (if any.)

Usually when something like this pops up on my computer it is usually accompanied by my anti-virus software going off, which did not happen here. Not sure what it could be.

I do know that Google will issue that warning if there are any corrupted files on a website. I had that happen on one of my sites when a file changed and was corrupted; Google saw that as a security breach and flagged it. I wonder if the same thing could have happened on the PC site.

Sorry, this is a bit long-winded...

Could be since they are now hosting sequences on the PC site for free and for sale, that your security settings picked up on a bad file or that there are some corrupted sequence files posted that didn't get caught {if they even scan them when uploaded for virii, trohans or anything else I have no idea}.

As some unscrupulous person could have sent a virus or trojan via the XML coding used that creates a sequence. There are some vermin out there that would do this, and that code could very well hijack info from your computer, like bank account numbers, cc numbers, and passwords to sites you visit.

I haven't been there in a while, so don't know what my browser may tell me when I go there.

I don't recall the site or name {it is now BLOCKED in my settings along with a lot of other sites non-decorating related}, but this Christmas site that sold lights and other decor, whether they are still a vendor here I don't know, but this site is where I got the link from initially, every time I went there I would get a cookie that was a trojan, and each and every time I'd go there, my virus checker would go off and also block the site, probably because of the trojan cookie being served up. Now that it's blocked, my browser won't even open that or any site I now have blocked, and I will also get a similar warning.

It's why I now have my cookies set to ASK ONLY and I decide wether or not to download a cookie to my system. Even the virus checkers DO NOT ALWAYS catch these trojan laced cookies and I've gotten several, usually they are those pesky ADVERTISING COOKIES, like from doubleclick, adware, etc.

Ever since I have shut the cookies down and block or allow sites that I know, I have not had any further issues.

You might be surprised at just how many AD type cookies are served up at any given site you visit if you just allow cookies automatically. There have been times when I'd block an ad cookie from a site, only to be served up another, then another. I've had at one time, had to go through and manually block over 25 adware type cookies on a site. Time consuming, yes, but I'd rather waste my time BLOCKING cookies I don't want or don't know I can trust and keep my personal info and files safe on my computer.

EDIT: Just went to the PC forums to check this, logged in just fine, no issues at all for me.

That should be posted in the Joke Of The Day thread. ;)

I think it'd need a bit more info for that thread William. Don't think that one liner there would really be all that funny!:)

Yup, I got the same message. Weird that it's the first time that has happened.

Reply here if you are amongst those that didn't realize Planet Christmas was still there.
