Tim
I'm stuggling with how to make a morph run from top to bottom, but instead of trailing off with a tail, I want the string to just stay on for a set period of time. Is this where I would need to set a scene with the whole string lit?? I'm a little lost on this one. Thanks for your help!TimBTW, I did watch the video Brian made (which is awesome!) but didn't see it in there.
kneel999
I would play with the head length for state 1 and state 2 like making the head length in state 2 about 50 pixels (or however long your morph is) Also make sure there is a tail length time.If you don't want the tail to trail off at the end you can put a "scene" or "image" of that line of the same color in the same spot just before it would trail off and it will stay there as long as you want it to.Here are a couple of screen shots. In this picture you can see I set a morph to go from top to bottom. before it can fade away I added an image of a red line to match the morph. The image will now stay there until I turn it off or use the image beginning/ending state to move it back up or down or even sideways. I hope that makes sense and is what you are talking about.Neal

BrianBruderer
Good question. Neel came up with a clever solution. There is also another way which I should include in a tutorial because it is not obvious.Set as follows:State1 head length = larger than the length of the morph State2 head length = 1Tail Time Length = 1.00 secondsHead start color = redHead end color = redTail start color = redTail end color = redThe above will have a red morph travel down, and when it hits the end, the entire area will stay on for 1 second and then the entire area will disappear
