N6AJ
I am starting my first year adventure on lights. As I "collect" items, I was thinking abnout getting a storage locker to put it all in.Since they do get warm in the lockers any problems you all can think of? I will put blow molds, lights, controllers, Painted items in thee. Thanks for the advice. Or should I kick the wife quilting machines out of the garage:)
Mark h2o
I think dry and bug free is key.
pyromill
I used to keep everything controllers included in a attic that would reach 130 no problem.. A storage spot I do not see a problem other than critters in the area.
pyromill
One more thing to add.. my parents have had blow molds in their attic every year minus display time for over twenty years without a problem.
travis p
well at least with high heat humidity should not be a problem im in my second year altho small by some standards my stuff fits in a 12 X 12 storage building with ridge vents.
jim6918
I rent a 10 X 20 storage unit for all my stuff, and have never had any heat issues, and it gets pretty darn hot in this part of Colorado during the summer. The problem i DO HAVE is with dust blowing into the storage unit around the crap roll-up door. I usually have to hose off my mini trees before I set them out for the season. The suff in big tubs stays pretty clean, but I usually come home filthy with dust when I am moving stuff back and forth betoween the house and storage unit. My unit faces west which seems to be the prevailing wind direction. I am on the list for an east facing unit.
