Rick Childers
I am looking for ideas. I need to create a 7 inch circle of light, bright enough to shine through CoroPlast. I am re-designing my "House Face", and I need to create the pupil of an eye, bright enough to shine through a sheet of CoroPlast.Last year, I drilled 150 holes for each pupil, and pressed incandescent lights through to create the eyes. Although this worked out, I was not happy with the design for a number of reasons. This year, I need to hide the unlit pupils behind a white sheet of coroplast so they do not show when off. I need the light to be blue, or green, does not matter which. I do not want to use incan lights this year. Light rope does not seem to be bright enough.Any Ideas? Here is what it looked like last year:
scubado
Get a roll of RGB ribbon and cut off what you need and have extra for another project. You can make the eyes any color you want.
Rick Childers
I have been considering that, and it is a great idea. The only problem is I want more LEDS than the normal spacing in a 5050 strip. Do you know of any LED strips that have more LEDs per inch? Thanks for your earlier response too
Rick Childers
Ok, I am new to DMX, and learning about the different RGB strips this year. I found the strips that have 300 LEd's per 5 meters instead of the
james campbell
you don't need dmx to control rgb strips,so being new to dmx is no problem. all you need is a lor dc controller and a power supply. It works in line like other lor controllers and programs in you sequence as an rgb channel

scubado
I have also seen 90/meter and I think I have even seen 120/meter. Some were an older led and not as bright as the 5050.
