Controller Cord Labels

I see the completed controller pictures and they have a white band below the plugs. Is this a label? If so, can we purchase them? The "PC Series Dangle Cordset" are unlabeled.

I have used the silver sharpie method. I've also seen the 3M wire labels. I'm wondering what else is available.

The wire labels from home depot came off after a year. The first controller I made, i used Duct tape and a sharpie, that is still on there, BUT the silver sharpie is by far the best for durability and visibility. You can buy them in Walmart for i think $3 for the 2 pack.

I use a silver sharpie as well. For $3, you can't beat it.
It stays on through all weather conditions, but can easily be removed with a green scratch pad.

Don't use anything, just plug stuff in and WHAM you got a new show every night, just remember to go outside each night and change the plugs around
I do that every year!!

but not necessarily on purpose... :?

Don, Like your idea. Wont have to seq any more songs. Just each year I just mate any plug with any socket and will have a new show each year. And if I really feel crazy, change things up in mid-season.

I have a Rhino label maker with heat shrink labeling that I use for mine.
A bit of overkill but since I use the Rhino label for marking electrical panels for work and other things it is a really nice way to mark the pigtails.
I also use color coded zip plugs in male and female for my extension cords and wire harnesses for lights. Since my lights are red, green, blue, and white I just paint a bunch of the covers for the vampire plugs with Krylon paint for plastic. That way I have a couple dozen of each color available in my tool kit when I need to make new cables up. Makes hookup easier and quicker for me.

But if all else fails, I do have a couple of the silver sharpie pens in the tool kit as well.
