What would you do with 2CCRs?

I scored two CCRs at the spring sale. 2012 is my first year and I bought these without thinking where they would go. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Here is a photo of my static display. I will be adding a 16 channel 2 color mega tree in the middle of the yard and moving the 1/4 scale manger in front of that. The eves will go from blue icicles to 4 sets of icicles. Otherwise, the display elements will be about the same.

My ideas for the CCRs is a star for the mega tree, Or wrapping the trunk of the tree, or adding arches or maybe a suggestion from one of you.

FYi: The pallet of mulch on the driveway is not a design element. :)

Dang with that single car driveway, not much front yard left. Takes what? 5 min to cut the lawn.

:)

It takes about 10 to mow, but there are a lot of edges and a 20x 20 area behind the house on the hill that I do with the line trimmer.

I would send them to that guy in St Cloud, FL, I'm sure he could find something to do with them.:)

Actually, the arch over the door sounds like a good idea, or on the gutter over the garage.

You are on the money with using one for the star on the mega tree, that is the only place I have a CCR. Ditto purser on the other, would look good on the arch.

I looked at the videos on his site and couldn't find one. Do you have the direct link?

Lol, next time that I go to Disney, I will try to remember to drop them off.

The arch over my door is only 8 feet wide. I could have the two meet there and then go 12 feet down each pillar, but you can only see the right pilar once you are dead in front of the house.

I like the 4 arches. I probably should have mentioned the 35 candy canes that I planned to add to create a border on the sidewalk

Found it on YouTube. For some reason I can't see that last video on the iPad.

Thank you.

What about this? I love the CCR videos with the 12 strips leading up to a star. How about 2 strips bent back, so that they are 4 strips of a little more than 8'?

When they do these "flat trees" are the strips just hanging there or do they secure them to wire rope or PVC or something else?

How difficult would it be to "fold" them back? I think that they can't really be folded. So, I'd have to pivot them slowly back somehow?

I would cut them into pieces and outline each garage window individually.

You could chase them around; play "follow the bouncing window" to the music; play leap frog, fade them back and forth.

It would create a lot of energy in your display in that you would be taking 2 items and turning them into 12 items.

If you can't make it difficult, then there is no point in doing it :P
