Guest guest
We bought a 16 channel kit this year. Loved it...My husband would like to build a hobbyist kit, but I am not sure which one for another 16 channels...I would personally buy one already done, but he wants to try. He is familiar with electrical and stuff, but I am not. What do we use to weather protect the board when its done?
Guest guest
If you husband is going to go hobbyist I recommend that you wait at least a few weeks and check back. There will be some new Hobbyist offernings that include an enclosure.

Guest guest
The Hobbyists are very easy to do...I'm 14 (was 13 at the time) and with the help of my brother, we assembled a board on a Sunday afternoon! It was simple. I'm glad I didn't spend the extra 80 or so dollars on a Showtime. We used just a 6 qt Sterlite container (for my 8channel controller). The only thing we didn't do is MOUNT it...which I will do this year.It is very easy to do. I would recommend it to anyone who know some or little about electricity.
